I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.
I love being a part of the Chronic Illness Bloggers Network – it’s been a ton of fun trialing new products and writing reviews. Since Julie launched Chronic Illness Bloggers Network, I’ve been a huge fan. While some my projects prevented me from participating in the in beginning, I slowly started accepting more and more product reviews and adding my other websites to the Chronic Illness Bloggers Network. Another component that I appreciate is the work ethic that Julie has put into building this business. As someone who has started several small businesses and more recently a nonprofit myself, I have nothing but respect and support for someone who works diligently to build a business the right way, with consistency and follow through — exactly what Julie has done. I’m sure I’ve driven her crazy with all my ideas, links to products, and introductions to other bloggers and companies, but I believe in this network, and I believe in Julie’s ability to continue to help Chronic Illness Bloggers Network grow and succeed. Plus, have I mentioned how much fun being able to trial and review even more products than I already did on my own has been? A lot!
Most of the products that I’ve had the chance to trial, I would not have done so on my own. However, through participation in sponsored product reviews with Chronic Illness Bloggers Network, I’ve been able to use products that I would not have otherwise known about, and most are now products that I regularly use — The Fay Farms Cannabidiol Oil Rejuvenation Lotion is one of them.
First, let me say that this was a family effort trialing this product. I brought The Fay Farms’ Cannabidiol Oil Rejuvenation Lotion on vacation with us to upstate New York. Since our vacations are usually very active, especially when we go to upstate New York, I wanted to make sure that I brought the Rejuvenation Lotion along. I was pretty sure I would be thrilled to have it, but I wasn’t expecting everyone to be equally as excited as well.
While on vacation, I worked out like usual but also engaged in activities that I do not have the chance to participate in on a daily basis – hiking, paddle boarding, tennis, and more. I was already dealing with a water retention problem before leaving, and my legs tend to be one of my biggest sources of chronic pain, especially if we have to drive long distances in the car.
After activity-filled day one, and being in the car for over 9 hours straight driving, I took a shower and put the Rejuvenation Lotion all over my legs. What I first noticed was the consistency. The consistency was thick and creamy – the perfect lotion. It wasn’t too light, it covered well, but it didn’t leave your skin feeling sticky, or greasy. The second thing I noticed was the smell — which is relatively strong. The smell didn’t bother me, but it is not a fresh flowers smell. I was not sure if the smell would get to me after a few days of use, but it did not. The smell also didn’t bother my other family members, and they felt as though the lotion worked as well — all great feedback to hear.
For about a month or so prior to leaving for update New York for vacation, I had already been dealing with excess water retention and swelling in my legs, which did not seem to want to recede no matter what I tried, or didn’t do; however, having to kneel while paddle boarding because my daughter was on my board, seemed to shock my autonomic nervous system even more than it already was. Because I was kneeling with extra weight on my board, I used the smaller accessory muscles and ligaments that have to keep my super hypermobile knees and kneecaps stable, much more than normal. These little accessory muscles and ligaments do not usually have to work so hard because they have help from the larger muscles in our legs. The result was even more swelling, especially right above my knee caps, and super shaky legs. I wasn’t shaky anywhere else — just my legs. I felt as though I was going to dislocate simply from walking. It was a very unsettling feeling, but I was happy to have Fay Farms’ Rejuvenation Lotion with me — it came to my rescue several days in a row. I slathered my legs for several days to help the pain, swelling, inflammation and it did. See pictures below.
All in all, I’m a huge fan. The Rejuvenation Lotion by Fay Farms worked well, and other family members enjoyed it also. To learn more about The Fay Farms, or to follow Fay Farms on social media, I’ve provided additional information and links at the bottom of this post.
Last, I’ve included a few links to the benefits of using Cannabidiol Oil.
Top picture – A bit better, but you can still tell my circulation and autonomic nervous system (AKA – Dysautonomia/POTS) was haywire.Better. Bottom picture – Still was having issues with Dysautonomia flare and POTS, but swelling went way down.
